PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLIENTS

BEFORE YOUR FIRST TREATMENT:

· At the beginning of your first treatment, a spot test will be performed to determine the correct power level for you, based on your skin type and the amount of sun exposure your have recently had. Therefore, the treatment area should be shaved 4 to 5 days or clipped to (1-3mm) in length before first treatment.

BEFORE FOLLOW-UP TREATMENTS:

All treatment areas should be shaved or clipped (1-3mm) before your appointment.

· Do not tweeze, wax or use any depilatory agent for one month prior to treatment.

· Treatments cannot be performed on areas with a suntan or sunburn. Avoid direct exposure to the sun, tanning beds or self-tanning products for 4 weeks prior to treatment. If you will be in the sun prior to treatment, a broad-spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher should be applied to any treatment area exposed to the sun.
